| Finally arrived in Bangkok after a very long journey. We were met by Kaem our guide, who took us to the Lebua (a very posh hotel with various dress codes for the different restaurants). Had a very brief walk around outside - crossing the roads is interesting - and then gave in to our Western needs and popped into a Starbucks. Alice had some very spicy fish cakes for dinner in one of the more casual dining areas and then we went to bed about 9pm absolutely exhausted. |
