| Another rainy day, but not too heavy. This lunchtime we walked down the road to the local shops to get food and postcards. Had lunch at Paula's retro cafe. Not sure what was retro about it, but the food was good.
We actually managed to get down to the beach, although it was quite windy and the waves were huge, but it was nice to have a walk around.
This evening we had a lovely dinner in "The Terrace" - not related to the one in Kingston I think, but very very nice food and very cheap too. And there was music - some Thai locals playing guitar and singing country and western, which was a bit unusual but fun. Got all our postcards done. The hotel has gained a lot of new guests, who seem to be extra loud and annoying so we may have to push them down some of the many stairs. |
