| | | A very boring day - we met our rep at 10.30am and met a nice couple from Croydon on their honeymoon, but otherwise we were trapped in the Chedi Prison by a storm which was very annoying. To be fair, the Chedi isn't such a bad place to be, it's just that you couldn't DO anything. Anyway at about 4pm we went stir crazy and went down to the bar for something to eat and drink and it actually stopped raining. So we went for a walk along the main road and then the seafront - there are some interesting shops and several taxi stands. Whenever you walk past the taxi stands/thai massage place they try and entice you in. The high point of the day was that the frogs in the hotel pond were making an amazing noise after all the rain. We went to have a look at them and they are big fat round things. When they make the noise their stomach deflates and their face gets bigger! They are so loud you can hear them from quite a distance. |
